Digital screens can already be bent and rolled. But Google seems to want to make them tearable too.

In a patent filling published Thursday, inventors detailed a new kind of device that people can rip and then put back together. When the screen is modified, the contents are modified as well.
Google uses a lost dog flier to illustrate how it could work. The flier shows a photo of a dog when it's wholly intact. When torn, the smaller display presents the picture of the dog and a phone number.

W-R Wikipedia Page

"serves students in ninth through twelfth grade from Wood-Ridge, in Bergen CountyNew Jersey, United States," This has two incorrect things about it, it serves grades 7 through 12 and serves Moonachie students as well. Wood-ridge does not have a tennis team anymore. We do not have a golf team. The principal is Mr.Petrocelli. The name is no longer Woodridge Highschool. Student to teacher ratio should be 23:1

  •  Drones could soon be flying over our heads as they zip around delivering Amazon packages or capturing footage of a fire for local news That is, if a new proposed rule is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.
  • Drones would have to fly 20 feet above people's heads, and have a 10-foot buffer space on all sides, mostly for safety during take off and landing. Currently, operators are largely banned from flying drones over people not associated with the aircraft. Loosening the regulations could clear the way for commercial uses of drones like for delivery and aerial photography.

    • The rules are meant to minimize any potential injury to people on the ground should a drone malfunction or an operator lose control. They would apply to drones that weigh more than half a pound and less than 55 pounds, though more powerful drones would be subject to additional rules.

  • Amos Dudley wears his skills in his smile.

  • The digital design major has been straightening his top teeth for the past 16 weeks using clear braces he made himself.
  • "I'm still wearing the last one," Dudley told CNN on Monday
  • "The last one" refers to the twelfth and final straightening tray in his self-designed treatment.
  • Dudley said he had braces when he was in junior high, but he didn't wear his retainer as much as he should have, and his teeth shifted.
  • Over time, Dudley discovered that he wasn't smiling as much because he wasn't happy with the way his teeth looked.

  • Siri and other smartphone personal assistants can look up driving directions, find the hottest ramen spots and send text messages if you just ask. Some can even help in crisis situations by directing users to the nearest hospital, dialing a suicide hotline or encouraging those who say they are depressed to seek help.
  • But when it comes to concerns about rape or domestic violence, a new study says most smartphone personal assistants come up short.

I woke up one Saturday afternoon. I found this jacket looking cloak. So I decided to put it on and i was granted the ability to become invisible, this feeling was great i couldn't wait to see what i could do. I had so many ideas of what i could do with this cloak. I had great ideas ahead of me.
With this cloak I've decided I want to save suffering animals that are either out in the heat, cold, rain, or snow. I would bring them to an animal shelter or facility. I'd open the door put the animal in and nobody would see me do it.

                                                                                 The Electric Bike

•The Bolt has pedals and can limit its speed to 20 miles per hour, so most states consider it an "electric bicycle."
•That means you don't need a license, registration or insurance, plus you don't need to fill it up with any gas.
•The bike costs $5,500 -- shipping and handling will set you back another few hundred dollars.

Do Now

What I learned from this tech article about Copyright is that anything you do that can create a product or an idea or anything you make is copyrighted. This copyrighted item or idea can be sold, rented , lended, or distributed in other ways to make the product more known. The fair use of items is important too like for classwork projects you use someone else's photo or image.

Opinion on Apple's Letter

My opinion on this letter is, I feel this idea of a "backdoor" is a smart and probably effective idea. But the problem with this idea is that Apple will be able to have access to all personal information you hold. Since they did not have that access people feel more comfortable knowing that what they do and all their personal info  They should only be able to access Iphone's or Apple accounts for the government or for world-wide issues. I feel access to everybody's devices will be too much information to have access too. Not many people will enjoy the fact their stuff can be openly read.

                                                                       Algebra

One class I am in this year is Algebra 1. The teacher of this class is Mr. Ben-nun. I am fairly good at math and i like to take tests and quizzes since i kind of like a challenge in class. Mr. Ben-nun teaches at a fairly fast pace. His grading policy is 10% for homework grades, 40% for quizzes and 50% for projects and test grades.  I've learned some of the same things i learned last year but now i am learning new things in algebra. The technology used in class is the computers, and calculators.
